The BGUN Investment Fund focuses on delivery of the Africentric Youth Economy (AYE).

Our economic development model focuses on the promotion of African culture and the combination of traditional best practices with modern techniques and technologies to deliver our products, services and projects.

This work is being developed exclusively by young Africans with young Africans. It relies solely on their research, consultation and developments based on the needs identified in their communities and daily lives. In that sense, it is a grassroots African-centred economy that puts young people aged 16–35 at the centre of their own development.

Zimbabwe is the base for developing the model and expansion is planned to other African countries and the diaspora.

The model operates through eight working teams handling day to day delivery activities, eight working groups focused research and development and eight Africentric forums that are responsible for delivery of Africentric product plans for the eight priority areas of Culture, Education, Finance, Food Security, Health, Innovation, Media and Realty/Land & Homes.

BGUN has developed seventeen plans so far including an Africentric fashion line, farming education using SMART solutions, community edutainment hubs, safe water sources, self-reliance and financial education, substance abuse programme, industrial plan for Africa and a sustainable wildlife economy.

Our vision is to stop the generational cycle of despair faced by young Africans, some dying in the process of crossing oceans, deserts and barbed wires looking for a better life. Others, graduate with degrees and then migrate to do dead-end jobs in foreign countries where they face disrespect and abuse.

The BGUN Investment Fund is about providing an exciting option for young Africans and their cousins in the diaspora who wish to return to the motherland to be a part of the solution, or to just experience and contribute to the re-evolution of African consciousness.

At the heart of our current SeedFunding campaign is the building of our Village Headquarters and delivery of our 17 Africentric product plans, starting with our three Africentric Launch products – Our Africentric Fashion Line, personal development workshops and Know Your Africa App.
