OUR AFRICENTRIC YOUTH ECONOMY | BY YOUNG AFRICANS FOR YOUNG AFRICANS
ECONOMYIf Africa is going to rise again, it is it’s young who must lead this re-evolution. It is why, from the outset when we thought of what taking action in our own interests meant, we also needed to understand what that action also looked like.
So, the first years of starting work, we spent a lot of time on figuring out what this meant and then on identifying our areas of interests. The result was a shortlist of 8 areas – culture, education, finance, food security and sustainability, health, innovation, media and realty as our priorities. Then we set about building the structures to make sure that we would be in a position to deliver something that would last for many generations to come.
The result… the Africentric Youth Economy (AYE) model which has been designed to provide self-sustaining solutions to the challenges faced by Africa’s youth – by young Africans for young Africans – created by them, powered by them for them, and for their children’s children’s children…
Our ancestors did it many times before. We are doing it again.
Do make time to view our video to find out about how we are taking action in our own interest, and how you can join us to do so.
